Yeezy, Big Sean & 2 Chainz all jump on one of the biggest tracks off of Cruel Summer, & with a line-up like this, it’s hard to swing and miss. This hit’s got that Yeezy soul influence that he keeps prevalent in his albums amongst his newfound taste for trap beats & hard-hitters. This sounds like the Blame Game of MBDTF, or the I Wonder off of Graduation, just to give you a feel of the track before you hear it. Big Sean feels a little out of place, speeding up his flow but still doing what he does best. Tity puts his perfect blend of hood-ass herbs & spices on this soulful beat, but overall, Yeezy’s bars go unparalleled on this beat. He references Jay-Z’s rhyme scheme from Niggas in Paris, & that type of unique way of paying homage to his big brother is what makes him such an icon in my eyes. No one else is doing what Mr. West is. There’s no better way to sum this song up than just calling it CRUEL as fuck!
You think you me? You ain’t me. What you done lately? Mhmm, that’s cool, but I’ve been running on the sun baby…
